そろそろみんな、政府に頼るのをやめないか？

本当に必要な技術ならみんなで稼いだ金で実現しようや。日本の研究機関・大学は研究の事業化について稚拙である。そこで得た利益を研究にフィードバックする仕組みができてない。だから、大学教授は科研費の獲得に汲汲としている。あほらしい。実際私は東大農学部の大学院生が研究していたユーグレナという生物をつかった事業を立ち上げたことがある。本来は大学がサポートすべき事案である。大学が一部投資して育成し、株式の売却益などを研究予算にフィードバックできるはずだ。

うーん、ここにも反知性の代表が。 科学の基礎研究と研究の事業化の話はまったく違う話じゃないか。一緒にして政府に頼るのを辞めろ云々いっても仕方がない。こういう何も考えてないが威勢だけは良い意見にダマされるヤツが多いんだろうな。

基礎研究のうち、国や公的団体からの資金援助を全くもらわないでやり遂げたという例は、一体どれだけあるのかね？その例を挙げてくれないか？僕は浅学なもので、寡聞にして聞かないけれど。
